Glue sniffing

Young Nicaraguan boys live on the street and sniff the shoe glue, Managua, Nicaragua, 5 November 2004. Hundreds of kids struggle on the streets of Managua, sniffing glue to avoid hunger and get out of the misery. The glue is the cheapest drug available in every slum in Latin America. It is widely sold to the kids because there is no government control, neither restriction. The police can not intervene because the glue is not legally considered as a drug. Many sniffers end up with permanent brain damage, their motion ability is reduced, some of them keep in unstoppable tremor till the end of the life.
