Rainforest wood processing

The wood species processed here (sajo, machare, roble, guabo, cargadero y pacora) are mostly used in the construction industry and the paper production. Although the Pacific lush rainforest in Colombia is one of the most biodiverse area of the world, the region suffers an extensive deforestation due to the uncontrolled logging in the last years.
