Colombian family members peel off fresh corn in the 'Invasión', a temporary slum in Bogota, Colombia, 1 April 2006. The internal armed conflict in Colombia together with lack of social network caused appearence of small invasion slums in all Colombian urban zones in last years. These illegal settlements rise quickly in free uncontrolled spaces between industrial buildings, both in the city centres and peripheries. Shacks do not have sanitation network, neither electricity. Most of their inhabitants are war fugitives violently displaced from their original lands in the country by guerrilla or paramilitary forces. Picking up the rubbish and recycling it is a common survive strategy for people living in these temporal ghettos until those are not dismantled by city administration.
