Despite facing socio-economic barriers and the lack of resources in the isolated, rural regions of Colombia, young Afro-Colombians show passion, dedication and commitment in training of football. As many of them dream of playing professionally in the major leagues in Europe, football may provide them with a potential path out of poverty. Regardless of training in mud, rain or tropical heat, they strive to turn their football dreams into reality.
